She was joined by Naomi Natalya Eva Marie Rosa Mendes, Summer Rae and Summer Rae in July 2014 to take on Nikki Bella with an uninvolved six-on-one match. She only showed up to fight Nikki as well as Naomi. In the Battleground's pre-show she got the chance to play Naomi. In that match Ariana defeated Naomi. In turn, the rivalry started between them. In the summer of 2010, they competed against each other in various handicap singles matches and tag team battles.
